[Official] Exilebuddy Support is Ending Today

Over past 6 months, sales of Exilebuddy have fallen to the point where we can no longer support the bot. We are closing the Exilebuddy shop today and now that today's patch to Path of Exiles breaks the bot, we will be ending support for Exilebuddy.

This is a sad day for us - we would like to apologise for the disappointment we know that you, our customers, feel. We hope we can make up for it by delighting you with one of our other products.

Any user who bought a key since March 1 can be refunded in full.

Alternatively, users are entitled to convert their login key to use with any of our other bots such as Honorbuddy, Demonbuddy and Rebornbuddy. For legal reasons, users in Germany cannot get keys for bots that work with any Blizzard game.

Thanks for all your support and enthusiasm. Email [email protected] to have your keys converted to other bots or to get a refund.
 
Very unexpected indeed. So many hours put into basically rewriting Exilebuddy, only to have the project shut down a few days after its release :(
 
Sad to see the bot diversity reducing, although no point in maintaining a non-profitable bot.
Guess I wont be trying out POE anytime soon..
 
Its probably a joke,its not only the time invested some ppl bought machines just to bot with exilebuddy...I bought 2k usd pc 2 months ago,for the sole purpose of botting poe.Refund the money i paid for the pc!
 
Is that only financial reasons? Then can we just pay more for it? Because ppl do so much stuff for it.
 
Hopefully Pushedx stays on the buddy team to work on another project. He has always been very professional and extremely helpful with almost any problems, small or large. No way he saw this coming either :( It was far too much work put into this new EB and he has been trouble shooting nearly up til this announcement.
 
Well played, this announcement basically wasted 3 of my fucking last days coding for almost 10 hours per day to update the plugins and also a month of rework on this bot from pushedx to finally announce you're no longer supporting it?

This is not only a disappointment for customers but for the whole community following us. I don't have the famous "ComDev" Tag but I'm part of the guys that made this bot easier to use for the community with advanced stuff. I don't want another bot, I want our poe bot !

So much time wasted for everyone, well done buddyteam, another argument to advertise for other bots. For those wondering, I'll refund the guys that donated to me for the motivation during The last days. You're just breaking the legs off people that spent a lot of time on this bot to make it better and better, you built a little community of friends with it and deciding to shut it down is probably one of the worst ideas you could have imho. (I know it's part of the business, no one would sell a bot that has no customers, but there's ways to resolve this issue...)

This bot paid my bills for so long, now I'm fucked...
 
I would appreciate if the decision could be revoked, as your post looks like that you just fucking woke up with the thought of eliminating buddys poe bot.

in the last years i bought 30+ unlimited sessions... lots of honorbuddy, demonbuddy... and 5 exilebuddy sessions in the last 3 months.

Demonbuddy and especially honorbuddy have been hit hard with ban waves and troubles. There is no sense in converting keys.

Exilebuddy was the last product with a bit of capability/potential.

What happens next?
Why is https://www.exilebuddy.com/ still up?

Buying a life-time license doesn’t happen because i am soooo confident i will bot 20+ years.
It’s a sign of trust and to support the developers.

You definitely shouldn’t offer lifetime licenses if the financial situation is shaky
You definitely shouldn’t close support JUST in the moment the bot has been „revived“
You definitely shouldn’t close support after several developers claimed the bot will be up and running soon

Honestly: 1 Month refund time for lifetime keys is a joke.
 
I hope this is not true, pushedx and other developers have been working insanely hard to get this up and running and suddenly it all just falls down.
I hope you reconsider!
 
If this particular product are not making expected profit, you can just increase the price or even better - switch to monthly licenses. Believe me, there are lots people ready to pay 20$ or more per month for Exilebuddy. But completely shutting down the whole project is just plain stupid.
 
Its so fucking funny things like that should be announced 1 month before they do it.WTF is this bullshit,i dont want a refund or a honorbuddy keys...
 
Completely agree that the business model for this particular buddy product should have changed. This is really the only bot left that can make a very good stream of RL cash out of all the buddy bots. I have never understood the business model the buddy team uses. As a consumer the lifetime keys were an amazing deal, but as the retailer, how can you sustain such a model and remain profitable?
