Check out this email. I have never had a suspension where they say that they are also investigating the account.
Even though it says 72 hours, it also says that they are investigating for 3rd party.
There are also a few mispellings in the email. The account was botting along side
another using GB2. The other account was not touched and is still running. It also
happened at 6:30 in the morning. All of my bans come late at night.

My average hours are about 9-10 hours a day. It almost looks like a GM nabbed the account and could
tell for sure that I was botting at the time. Or maybe it was a bunch of player reports
that finally flagged the account. Never the less ill be sending a follow up email.

first case: this is scam email
second case: you got reported
If they caught you botting, you done. If you suspension, they still dont have proof you using 3rd software or they saying your account got hacked by someone.

I don't see any typo's either, or misleading links that a phisher would use

I have never seen an email from Blizz similar to this. I would assume it's a scam but if your bnet page also says that the account was suspended and you are able to login to the website with your user and password then it must be legit. Tho it sure is new for my eyes.

In every ban I have ever gotten it was always a perma ban. Never a temp ban. If they catch you botting then it will be perma. If they arent sure then a 72 will be needed.

Its the email thats unique. The account is suspended so I know its not fake.

I have had this email, or at least one very, very smilar to it with my last suspension about a month or so ago. The account was recovered with no issue after the 72 hours expired. Say and do nothing to contest it before the 72 hours is up and do a few things by hand for a couple of days (professions, a dungeon or two) and all should be good. At least thats what I did and have leveled 3 more 85s on the account since the suspension. :)
