Odd Ban

Hi,

I got banned 5 days ago (left the bot on AFK whilst i was at work and forgot to install teamviewer on my PC after i bought an SSD -_-) and i never received a email.
I log into the banned account using the wow client and it said that the account was permanently closed.
I then got a character restoration email a few hours later, after the email i tried logging into my account again and it changed from permanently to "Access to your account has been temporarily disabled"
Instantly thought that the account may be suspended.

But 5 days has passed and i am yet to receive an email in regards to why my account got banned (i know why it got banned).

Guess i will have to call them up and play the ol' i was on holidays trick >_>

Has anyone else had this type of ban before?

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?:
6: 8-10 Hours/day

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?
6.5: If i was at work, every 30 -60 mins

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:
7: None

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods?
8: No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling?
9: Never

10)EU or US realm?
10: US

at this point i would say call them up, since if they sent you a "restore your stuff" e-mail, its kinda weird. normally i would say wait, but if its been 5 days and its still "temporary locked" maybe they are waiting for you to send information to confirm you own the account.

That was the plan :)
Just thought it was a bit odd lol.

The restoration email was:

Account Name: WoW1
Realm: XXXXXXXXX
Character Name: XXXXXXX

Money Restored: 400g 41s 58c

Item(s) Restored:
Cinderbloom x300
Lifegiving Seed x50

And the usual blizzard garbage
 
Just letting you guys know that i just called up then, got the account back.

They said that a GM found my character and thought my account was compromised and locked it down and removed all the items from my bags.
Once they investigated my account, they decided to restore the items and gold back.

They then said that they kept the account locked until i could contact blizzard and verify the details of the account.
Bit odd that they didn't send an email saying that i have to contact them lol.

Ahh wells, so easy to get accounts back nowadays i guess :P
 
congrats...and yeah, i kind of agree about the getting accounts back. if they don't suspect you of selling ingame items or gold for real money or if you are keeping to yourself for the most part, they just restore it.
