I'd like to add that these accounts were bought with the 4 EUR link and I used RAF to level them up with Dungeonbuddy. Survived quite long actually.

Can't really say exactly as I was away on vacation and I had some downtime in my botting but maybe 10 days, 2 weeks?

Well, I don't really remember but over 100 EUR. Not that much aye, but it's from 5 accounts. The money went into investing in more accounts of course.

Yep, can confirm. I got hit on 2 more accounts today. Would've gotten hit on 4 accounts but "luckily" those couldn't login the whole day due to server issues.

Where typically questing and gathering profiles are being banned. There seems to have been a hard switch to dungeon grinding accounts. I wonder if this means a new method of detection has been implemented, because it seems feasible that a non-botting player would still sometimes grind Gundrak or various other Gold Optimized Dungeons for some quick cash..

Obviously like in this case the hours spend per day botting has a large part to play.

There's been no "switch", dungeon grinding is the most unsafe method of farming I can think of, it's what i did 4 months ago, and I was lucky if my accounts lasted 2 days of 10-12 hours of farming. There's nothing new about this, leave your paranoia at the door.

Can you explain why it is the most unsafe method? Rather than just recycle the rumor without reason? I can understand dungeonbotting in a group being dangerous because you have 4 other people directly watching and counting on your participation. But these people getting banned are for grinding lower level instances solo, which I would imagine as one of the most private things you could do in the game. I would bot in wailing caverns for days at a time fishing deviate fish, or running scholomance 8 hours straight for the mount drop. What's wrong with that? Are players reporting them exiting/entering the dungeon repeatedly? Or is it a blizzard detection that you've been running the same pattern for hours? I don't see where the risk is coming from.

I have no idea how it is detected, since we don't really know anything about blizzard at all. Some have said it's scripted actions i.e repeating the same stuff over and over again, some have said it's the amount of bosses killed, some have said that they actively monitor either manually, or via programs that flag after a certain amount of dungeons run. we don't know.

You seem to think I'm lying about solo grinding dungeons being the most unsafe method of farming gold just because you yourself don't know any better, and don't want to believe it cause in your dreamworld you should be able to farm dungeons 24/7 and become rich with lots of bling.

After reading hundreds of ban reports for solo grinding instances, I can say you should expect your account to last 3 days with around 12 hours of farming a day before it's banned. Personally, i've lost accounts after just 5 hours in botanica, and at one time had an account up for 8 days in gundrak before the hammer, but this was a rare case. It might be server dependent, faster bans on larger servers or something.

So jsut because you don't want to believe it, doesn't mean I'm lying or just "recycling the humor without reason". Maybe take a few minutes to read up on this extensive forum with tons of reports from thousands of botters before you start making baseless assumptions.

Just accept it, it has been the most unsafe method of botting for ages, and probably will be forever.

Imo Most botters go unseen in the world....of Warcraft. you'll have to pardon that haha i couldn't resist. But the reason why is even Blizzard cant stop hb or bots so what do you do? you focus on the gold farmers. the industries. and no real player will ever run the same instance over and over again for 12 hours. something as simple as registering how long a player has been in a specific instance zone in a day and banning it if it reaches a specific limit.

Dungeonbuddy used to lvl a toon especially a dps is really fairly safe. Don't confuse that with using it to solo instances.

If your running instances over and over again for gold its apparent and is traditionally not something done by causal botters. you separate yourself from the large mass of bots running for mats to supply their main account. and blend in more with someone trying to make large masses of gold.
If the account acts like a gold bot you cant be surprised when blizzard treats it like one. If you bot safe most all of the bots provided with HB or relativity safe. but how you decide to use them isn't.
