Alright just throwing my 2 sense out the window... But I recently got banned as well, but I am taking it with a grain of salt... Now when I reinstalled WoW to try to read the new terms... Once you click accept, blizzard installs a "Software Reporter Tool" on to your computer. Bingo that's where I am thinking we have our answer. I'm not sure if anyone else saw this, but I am just pointing it out...
Thankfully my Norton picked it up and blocked it this time, so now I am going through my computer trying to find any other sort of it.
If there has been a thread already about this situation, please delete my Post.
Thanks!
As you can see this file was released about a week ago from Google. Could I be getting somewhere with this?
Could we just simply delete the file from our computer and continue through out our day with what we have planned? Lol!
Or am I just crazy to think that Blizzard wouldn't try something like this?
Even though it's from google, I recall yesterday talking to a Blizzard Customer Service rep and she had said there was a Google Building next to their building she worked in. Could this ring a bell at all?
As I also got from one of the ticket replies when I was trying to "play it cool" blizzard used a Hack Team to get the info, could this be used as part of the hack teams method?
Another thing I have noticed, when you go to your windows task manager you can see that everytime you start your Battle.net application it also opens an "Agent Updater" if you right click it and go to open File Location it brings you to Program Data>Battle.net>Agent>"Version of Agent" from there it shows you logs, my logs started as of Friday May 8th. Which Friday is when I set my bot up for the weekend, prior to that I didn't bot during the weekdays because I was working from 6am-9pm. Truthfully that is what my schedule is. Take it for what it's worth.
Do you guys think that uninstalling/deleting this "Agent" folder could be something as well?
Thanks!
Update: Deleted the Agent Folder, it still allows you to play but Blizzard sends you notifications that there is something wrong with your Battle.net client and you should uninstall and reinstall your Battle.net client. No thank you blizzard, I'll just deal with it.
As soon as you restart your Battle.net client it will reinstall the "Agent" file on your computer.
