Note Pad

I purchased ExileBuddy about a week ago and have been unable to use it. Every time I try to open the application it opens with Note Pad instead of just opening the exe. file. I have been through all the usual steps to fix this (renaming exe., open with, default programs, set default, etc.). I am at my wits end. I just have no clue why it isn't working. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

This usually is rename the .exe, try a fresh install.

Google "Hidden File Name Extensions".

By default File Extensions are hidden. So even tho you may be renaming the file from Exilebuddy to Exilebuddy.exe, if file extensions are hidden you are actually just remaining the file to Exilebuddy.exe.txt, you just dont see it.
