Not turning in quests

It just opens the npc windows and closes it over and over again, never turning in the quest.

As far as I can tell this is on all quests....

Known bug. Have to assume devs are looking into it. Sorry not much help from here

You might also try this remedy. Questing is in Beta, and as Snoweey said, you may be running into a bug, but its one I've yet to see in HB-2.0.0.3144.

If you want the Community to try to help you with your problem further, you will need to post your logs along with your complaint.

Ok, have tried 3 different profiles all the same problem. This sucks, i just bought HB, i was really excited for the questing feature, pretty much the only reason i bought the bot, to level.

I hope it gets fixed soon. Did questing used to work?

2 of the 3 links you just gave are leading to a blank page
anyways,make a try with a questorder profile and tell me if you have problems
the best think you can do is to test it with a lvl1 chat(in order to avoid stucks on chain quests)

a log is the txt file that you can find in you Hb main folder under the logs subfolder and its the only way for the devs to check a bug

you cant use grinding profiles for questing
try a questorder profile
(you will see the word "questorder" on the title)

Ok the one you just posted worked? but how come none of the quest orders i tried work?

Is there a quest order for humans? because i don't really want a dwarf or gnome....

I've used Mordd's excellent Breakneck v2 profile several times with no problems--humans and gnomes.

I'm looking at your log, and see what your talking about, and can find nothing wrong in it (other than the multiple attempts to turn in). If Tony can find nothing either, then will submit a Bugtracker issue against this.

Is that particular quest-giver offering you more than one quest at the moment?
One other thing to check, is it trying to pick up a quest where the giver needs to give you a quest item and your bags are full? The flip side of this would be turn in a quest, and claim the reward when your bags are full.

In the meantime, to get you going, can you try 'helping' it past this quest giver and see if it will continue on its way. Mordd's profile is excellent, but last time I started a toon with it was on the HB-1.9 family.

The other two profiles you listed are grinding profiles, and are inapplicable for questing.

I personally ran into issues with the Breakneck v2 profile on a non-heirloomed shaman. It eventually became out of sync with the levels and tried to pickup nonexistant nonsense. Started it fresh just with 3/4th of a level in. I personally don't think any questing profiles work very well unless they are small rep ones.

Use a grinding profile in mixed mode for the best leveling imo.

Just stop trying to use a grinding profile to quest. My Pm inbox is getting filled with it haha.

I have had this problem in previous releases of HB but not in the most current one. I would suspect a problem with something other then HB.

No it will move automatically. Mixed mode pvps and grinds at the same time.

Did you start the profile on a lvl1 and let it run?

Because if you run it somewhere in between it might try to pick up a quest that has a prerequisite quest which you have not done..
(it then does exactly as you said, click the npc over and over and over..)

1) exit out of hb, all the way (that way cache is gone)
2) load hb, log in (I use : Honorbuddy 2.0.0.3120 - Downloads - WOW Bot for PVP Leveling Gathering - Gatherbuddy & Honorbuddy Forums ) , notice not the latest update as it has a lot of bugs from reading the boards...
3) load profile (Breakneck 45 by Mord (1-45 Human).xml) (make sure you're human ) (make sure you're on QUESTING - BETA)
4) Hit Start, and hope

Questing 100% works for me, it just all depends on the profiles =)

I had to run the honor buddy install workaround to get it to run. could that be it? what does that even do?
