Not moving close enough to attack

Ok, I'm level 80 and just hit mount hyjal, but when he goes to attack something, he doesn't move close enough physically attack them, he just stands a few feet away and only uses spells sometimes, other times he just stand there and spam "not close enough" (paladin) - this is the first time this has happened, I'm using singular CC
