Normal for higher than expected level characters to pause a lot?

I was taking my level boosted character, now at 100, through old content with the default Questing bot and profiles to get gold and reputation, but it often seems to take a few steps, pause for few seconds, walk, pause, <repeat>. I've already cleared my cache and installed in new folder (no streaming, not at root, but also not in <user>/Documents). Attaching most recent log example in starting Pandaria area, but I saw this in Hyjal too (there are cool hunter pets there).

This most recent example started doing the walk, pause thing on the way back to turn in quests. During the quests it was pretty responsive.

any wow addons enabled?

Yeah , quite a few. I can try disabling them all next time I get time and see if that helps. Are there any known nasty addons? I read about a couple Archaeology addons to not use, but I haven't seen a list of Quest addons to avoid.

click settings and tools and lower the ticks per secand. theres no need for it to be set above 15.

try disabling the refreshment detection plugin as well.

By the help message for ticks per second it sounded like more ticks would speed decisions up, but maybe slow down rendering (worse FPS). "Increasing this will speed up the bot while increasing the cpu usage and decreasing the fps on wow."
