No systematic logic with questing

okay i just downloaded the latest stable release and i noticed that there wasn't any logic in the questing, as in the bot will just try to do a quest but it never gets to complete it because there are many things that it worries about. First, there's the mob, it seems to prioritize killing mob instead of actually finishing the quest that it is currently doing. Secondly, if there is another quest in the area that it can undertake, it automatically grabs that quest and forgets about the previous quest it was trying to complete.

All in all, one cannot use the questing option as it is way too bugged.
 
Well, it IS in beta. But you are completely correct. There was some kind of king jump quest starter plugin somewhere if I remember correctly, you could check it out and see if its of any use. I myself tried it and still only got around 50 percent of the xp I get just grinding a area. But I think I finished more quests, not sure.
 
My bot went to a level where the mob was 10 levels higher for no apparent reason whatsoever.
 
I have to agree, as soon as there is Quest Ordering, the questing part of HB should be almost perfect. It just needs to support more types of quests in the future :D

He is a customer and has all the right to express his oppinion's, The thing's he has stated have been mentioned before a few time's but not really been tended to with past release's and opening this thread (other past thread's dissapear before the dev's see it) could explain to the dev's were questing is failing.

the best way to report a bug is the bugtracker and not by making a thread on forum
also as we know the questing part is on beta,complaining about it everyday doesnt help us

We agree with you and are working on it for next week's release.

We have added an 'ImmediateHandIn' tag now in profiles that will enable profile makers to tell the bot to hand in completed quests straight away.

We are doing quest order today. With both of these working, HB questing should be pretty good from 1-80 and we can focus on adding specific types of quests, for example ones that use items.

Thanks for informing me, you guys sound like you are hard at work.

I wasn't aware of "bug tracker" before but I will be using it now.
 
I understand that people cry about some bugs and I also understand when people answer them with "its just beta".

We are in beta for almost 3 months and the only update concerning questing is the quest overrides, tbh the first release should have had questorder, I think it would be easier to do that rather than adding questing logic to know what to do next, flawless since it follows an order, easy for the users harder for the profile makers.
