The patch just downloaded, not installed. Its the content (maps, textures, etc) for the upcoming 4.0.0 release. If you look, the 1.58GB patch is labeled as "#1", so I think a good bit more is coming.

IMHO, no cause for concern atm.

first off, the download that's going on is NOT a "ninja patch" its a preload for patch 4.01 since its a big patch/change for wow, they want to preload it to prevent everyone downloading a 500mb patch. so just to be clear this is NOT a ninja patch, and warden DID NOT change.
so to stop people from panic and to stop this thread from getting out of control, i'm going to lock it now. as i feel this could easily get blown out of portion.

EDIT: there was to my understanding also an update to the Launcher, and thats the "patch" you might of seen, keep in mind that the Launcher has nothing to do with WoW or Warden really, and will NOT increase the likely hood of detection. if your paranoid then just don't use the launcher and run wow directly from the Executable
