Ninja patch - I just got hit with a tools update..... (eom)??

Me too. I have two bots running and when I tried to open my main account to play I got requested to update. Haven't yet, as I wanna let my bots run for a couple more hours since I won't re-open HB till it's confirmed to be safe.
 
Hmmm...last time this happened we had the "May 20th 2008" banwave.
 
It's not a ninja patch...it's just tools...... it clearly says "NON CRITICAL"
 
Can we get an answer from a developer/admin that HB is ok to use?

edit: after looking at wow.exe, it doesn't appear that it was changed during this update
 
This patch is nothing to worry about.
Start your bots and be on your way.
You will be fine.
If it was anything to worry about HB login servers would be offline to protect us.

but still guys is there a way to hide the bot , last 72 susp that i got said that i used 3th party software... can they see it somehow? (from then i only farm little time and on non crowded places, i was in uldum then)

No! They cannot detect Honorbuddy running on your computer.
They are only banning from server-side detection ( so much of this in so much time, or this massive amount of time logged in ) and from reports from other players.
They put the 3rd party software because obviously they didn't make the bot to use, but they know you weren't actually playing.
 
Paranoia at it's worst.

It's only the launcher that has been updated as a probable preparation to the upcoming 4.3 patch.

Nothing has been updated in the game itself.......yet.

If yer this scared you're better off not botting. :-)

that is correct, there is no reason to be afraid. it is safe to bot.
