I've had some good experiences selling accounts on PA, but I don't sell much currency. I check prices online, and their prices are generally lower than most of the others I find. I have a lot of good rep with their site, but they have never given me anything for free.
The only reason I mentioned them was because you can sell currency directly to other players through their website rather than merely trading it for game time. You can sell WoW gold for $44 per 20,000g right now, instead of $16 per 20,000g like many others here are getting. Just last week, the average price on PA was $11 per 20,000g, but they have risen dramatically since then. My main reason for starting this thread was to discuss the price of gold, not to discuss a website.
I'll say more about that in the ban forum.
No, Zodder. I have no financial interest in playerauctions.com - just some good experiences, and have always found them to be fair with me. I've been ripped off a couple of times by sellers, and the website made things right for me. I've noticed that they don't do things the same way they did a few years ago, but I question the idea that they are owned or controlled by "gold farmers." Is there some evidence to support that claim?
