Niantic/Pokemon GO has made a status on facebook:

Trainers,

After reviewing many reports of in-game cheating, we have started taking action against players taking unfair advantage of and abusing Pokémon GO. Moving forward, we will continue to terminate accounts that show clear signs of cheating.

Our main priority with Pokémon GO is to provide a fair, fun, and legitimate game experience for all players. If our system has determined that you cheated, then you will receive an email stating that your account has been terminated.

If you do believe your account has been terminated incorrectly, you should report it to the Pokémon GO Help Center: Pokemon GO

So if you are perma banned you should receive an e-mail?

I have no received one for any of my banned accounts has anyone?

I have not submitted a ban appeal but i have submitted tickets regarding log-in issues.
 
I have ONLY received ban notices to my google banned accounts.
My pokemon trainer accounts, 3 of which are banned, I received no notice. :)
 
Haven't received any on 4 of my accounts all botted getting failed to get game data.. So maybe theres still hope? lol
 
There is no such thing as hope regarding bans, its definitely 100% unless proven not-guilty.
 
One of my accounts I received a ban email, when I connect to the game i get the notice of "Our Servers Are Humbled By Your Incredible Response". so perm ban.

But a second accound I haven't received a email yet, but when I try to login I get "Failed to get player information from the server." so will this be a perm ban? or just a really long soft ban (since I couldn't login for 2 days now).
 
6 accounts banned on different dates, starting with the initial ban wave. No emails received.
 
Yeah, they updated it on their site. Still waiting to get an email before I appeal.

its been over a week for me now with no response from niantic, 3 support tickets lodged regarding log-in issues, have managed to get all my money back from apple though. so eh :/
 
I feel like a lost a good friend. The only thing that has been on my mind all day every day is my banned account since I first found out about the tragic news. I still have hope though, eff all you debbie downers.

I swear, I won't even look at a bot ever again if by some miracle my account gets restored! It's not like I was even able to use it anyway, got a good 3 hours out of it before MyGoBot got shut down. Best thing I got from it was Stardust and a Pikachu.

Personally if it wasn't for their faulty tracking system and how expensive Pokecoins are for Pokeballs that glitch and how low CP Pidgeys bust out of the balls more than once and then proceed to FLEE I probably wouldn't have even considered botting. I really only wanted to bot for the Pokestop farming so I can have a stocked inventory without breaking the bank when I go out to play.




...my ass is slowly fusing back into the couch without my Pokemon Go account. Niantic, what have you done!!?
