newbie questions

Hi there,

I'm pretty new to DB and would appreciate much if you veterans could share some experience on my following silly questions so I could minimize the risk of being banned. I have a main account and a bot account (I haven't started bot yet)
1. I want to play main account and bot together on the same pc. It is better to run bot in a virtual machine or simply copy D3 to another folder and run them together in windows mode?
2. Is it safe to interact with bot account? Or it is better to have another account in middle? like this main account<->middle account<->bot account?
