Newbie questions (socks5 vs ssh)

Hello! Soon I want to start botting. I have couple questions for experienced honorbuddy users.
1) What is the best thing to conceal your IP? SSH or soscks5? How long do socks5 servers live? I want to use 1 ip for 2-3 days I know ssh servers live pretty long. But I'm not sure about socks5 severs.
2) How can I use 5-6 clients per machine? Any advises about vm optimization?
