newbie question: Can i launch AB if I already have Archeage running?

Just a newbie question... If I already have my client running can I just open ArcheBuddy and run plug ins? Does it detect the game running?

no you need to launch the game with ab to use ab with the client you want to use plugins with. damn that sounds confusing. anyway you need to use ab to launch client to have it hook to client
