Most likely they didn't change version numbers if so, but there sure was a patch.

That kinda defeats the point of version numbers....

There *was* an update to the launcher earlier - is that perhaps what you've seen ?

Yeah, it's working... Guess they just updated battle.net or wowlauncher.
