NEW - What char/build to start botting with?

Hey there,

I plan to start botting on PoE and I really wonder what character/build I should go for. As I am new and not 100% convinced about this bot I want to start out with the cheapest yet viable dried laker (is that a thing here?) there is whilst keeping in mind the combat routines effectiveness.

you want to run maps, be level 80+ and use a high dps spammable all screen aoe spell. then the oldroutine is effective as well

Dried lake is fine for starting, but yeah in the later levels you want to run maps as fast as possible.

Vaalspark Inquisitor can work? Will it also be using Whirling Blades/Fortify to travel if I want it to?

if you install the proper plugins for it, then yes.
my recommendations would be to skip the vaal spark and just go with spark, but that's up to you and up to finding a proper routine for vaal spark

no.

but you'.l find plenty of ideas on the official poe forums.
as mentioned - focus on fast movement + a all screen aoe skill and you're fine.

I understand there's a shitload of possible builds out there, but what I'm asking is which one performs well with the bot. There's alot of builds that are great aslong as a human is playing them because they require logic to work (Sidestepping 'n shit)
Which build will work great with the retarded logic provided by the OldRoutine?

Trial & Error, I doubt anyone is going to just tell you what works well.

Or, you know, you could just read what people posted here before. Invest some time, read the forums here, put in some effort. Nothing here will be handed to you on a silver platter.

That's a shame. A community of thát type of people. I did look stuff up, it's just very unclear to me. There's alot of shit that's outdated and doesn't work/apply anymore.

I'm running a blade vortex build and functionally it works great. I'm currently running tier 8-10 rare maps with a death every 3-4 hours.

Any meta build you find on the PoE / reddit forums will work with this bot just fine.

There are only 2 types of skills you want to stay away from. Channeled skills and totems. Every other skill in the game this bot will handle just fine.

Totems actually work, until you start using 2 of them, and thats only because the totem routine hasnt been updated in a long time and the author has no plans to update it.

Even some channeled skills will get supported here if they are OP enough, like BladeFlurry. Code snippets to make BF were up within a few days of the skill being available.
