I'm after ideas for a new warlock CC. Tell me what it should do and I'll see if I can work my magic.
What I want it to do:
- DoT multiple targets
- Round up multiple targets and AoE
- Obviously it will support all 3 trees
- PVP
work from lvl 1 to 80 would be cool =P
Less stupidity wud be my advice, like affliction locks using shadowbolt etc.
The chainpull option for affliction seems to be nice (since you never ever have to wait for the mobs to die as aff lock and can just pull 5-6 mobs at the time from lvl 30>80). Everytime I see a CC affliction lock nuke down mobs 1by1 something dies within me.
It is by far the fastest leveler if played correctly but so far I havent seen any CC able to play affliction well.
The reason this hasn't been done is because of the difficulty of doing it this way with the way CC's work now. In my working version I have it targetting multiple mobs and dotting but the logic of keeping track of each mob, making sure they actually die, etc (and doing it all without leaving combat) is a pain in the ass. Even after a week of tweaking it and testing it myself it still has some issues.
It wasn't meant as a dis to anyone. Hell I can't code a CC out of a shoebox so I am gratefull to all of you guys who spend your time doing it for us.

Yes I think they do. But I've set myself a goal of writing a CC for EVERY class. I'm almost half way there![]()
