New version after Tripwire event is crashing

Demonbuddy: 1.1 r2922 Build 452 is just crashing on startup. No errors or anything. Cant get a log because it never actually launches.
 
Hi, C4sh,

Even if Demonbuddy crashes, we hope there would be a log with an exception and some minimal information. Without it, we're extremely limited in the help we can offer.

Can be reproduced by just trying to launch it.

So far, this problem is unique to you/your machine, and not a general problem. We are not able to reproduce it.

Let's do a 'clean install' of the latest release, and see how far that will get us. Follow the steps here, but substitute 'Demonbuddy' where it says 'Honorbuddy'.

As stated in the article, it is important for the clean install that you:
  • Use a NEW directory in which to install Demonbuddy (e.g., C:/Demonbuddy/)
  • Do NOT copy anything from a previous Honorbuddy installation
  • Do NOT install any third-party products
Please leave it in this configuration until we get your problem sorted.

That is how I always go about using new versions, and it is what I did for this version too.

Are you saying the new version works for you? I imagine the error is widespread and is easily reproduced by just trying to launch the new version that just came out.

Indeed, the .452 drop of Demonbuddy works just fine for us. We also do not have any other users reporting the problem at this time.

So trying again...
Let's make certain that your Antivirus is not interfering with Demonbuddy.
