Hi there.

I just bought an Honorbuddy license a few days ago, along with a new WoW account. I am now in the process of leveling a character up on this new account.
Seeing the bot being able to work by itself, and my computer are able to work meanwhile, means that I can actually play on my main account while the bot does its thing - but as this will be on the same IP, am I in danger of getting both accounts banned at the same time?

Also, I was not aware that 1 license meant 1 WoW account. Is it possible I could change the account my license is attached to, or will I have to upgrade my current license?

Thanks in advance,
Swanky

You can Attach your HB key to any WoW license that you have, You can only attach it to one at a time. So you can close HB and the WoW client it is attached to down, restart the new instance of WoW and start HB.

As for your question, I run 4 -5 instances of WoW with HB from the same PC(s) and I have never received a ban that I would attribute to that action. Since none of really know the exact methods that Blizzard uses to ban there is no 100% answer, and I am sure that as many people that will tell you that it is ok, there are just as many that will say no. Really just use common sense and I am sure that you will prevail.

I hope this helps.

Don't run the bot for longer then what the average player can sit and play for...by this I mean don't stay logged in questing, grinding, or farming for 24 to 48 hour straight. Typically I will run for 4 to 5 hours a day with 3 accounts all farming various areas, questing or grinding, just remember the longer your bot runs the greater your risk.

Alright guys, thanks for the answers.

I tried closing down HB and WoW a few times, and then reopening it all to log into my main account - though without any luck getting the bot to run.
I downloaded some .xml script for farming Sumptuous Fur in Spires of Arak. Perhaps I am doing something wrong? I'm opening it with the Grind Bot, and then selecting it straight off of my harddrive.

Maybe the profile is written for the Questing bot.
Usually it's stated in thread where you downloaded it.

Thanks for the quick reply :-)
I tried looking over the thread multiple times, and no clues whatsoever. I even tried using the questing bot, because I read in other threads that some scripts are made with that. HB just told me that there was no quest paths or tracks in the script.
