LIke say I have 20 stacks of fathom eel, to sell them on the ah would be dumb if I did all 20 at once but if I did like 4 a day would that look like a botter, or should I not be selling on ah at all.

If you have 2+ accounts then spread them on each account with trade. If you have A LOT never put too much into the auction house.
Also if your guild master you can spread them with putting into guild bank and then withdrawing.

I tend to space out my auctions doing a set'ish' number every day so its just a normal part of my routine when I log on at night

Just because you have 20 stacks does not mean you should sell them all and crash the market. Post like 10 stacks of 2 or 1 stack of 20 and repost them as they sell.
