New to POE and new to exilebuddy what do I do to start?

Everywhere I look seems really complicated and I have no idea what to do?

Any step by step instructions? from the very beginning of the game?

I started the bot all it does is run around not attacking anything and keeps dying

Any help is appriciated
 
I'm new as well. From what I can see there is no way to just let the bot start from level 1 and do everything including quests for you. Am I right, or is there a way to do this?

Not as of now. There was a quest bot, and there will be. But it's in development.

Before this xpac there was a questing plugin, so you could basically hit start from level 1. You would still have to gear up etc, and do a few minor things.

ExVault is in the process of writing a new questing plugin that will come with the EB install.
Alcor just released one of his private plugins that will allow you to auto equip / auto upgrade all your gear automatically.

Soon you will be able to just hit start and fully gear / quest automatically. For now, you have to manually point the bot where to go via OldGrindBot, but most questing will be automatically completed per zone you set.
 
I downloaded the free version but asks for a license? Is it like a free trial, or payment needed?
 
You gotta buy. It's a great bot. Buddy developers are pros.

Still haven't figured out how to keep the stuff I want and not pick up the crap but maybe someone will help with that

The rules are a bit outdated but you cana add or change what you need. I think its a great base to start with, to eval rares and stop wasting currency!

EDIT:
Also need a build that is supported. As far as i know the default is more just click and spam skills. So arc etc work well but cyclone does not. Also SRS isn't great or totems with default routine. There are custom ones out there but they are currently broken (as far as i know).
