New to Honorbuddy forums, I have a few questions before I purchase.

I want to level my level 17 mage all the way to 85, hell maybe even 90. Just curious, does Honorbuddy have the ability to do this without constant babysitting to see if it messes up. I'm not worried about people messaging me because (I personally will be on my computer the whole time, doing some work while it's botting.)

If you can answer this question it would be much appreciated

I wouldnt say constant babysitting, but that depends on the profile you use. Grind profiles are mostly 100% afkable, but it is believed that they are more risky as well. The questing profiles are much faster and not as risky, but you would probably want to check every hour or so on the progress.

I leveled a warrior 1-90 last week without any problems.
I'm atm leveling a druid, currently level 24. It's running on another computer and I'm using Teamviewer to check if it's stuck sometimes - so far; never happened.

Edit: and I suggest using http://www.thebuddyforum.com/archives/34359-plugin-logmeout-world-warcraft-disconnecter.html plugin, you can select it to beep when something happens, like, stuck (I have log out on 10 stucks) but it beeps on every stuck, every whisper, in combat for more than 4 minutes. If I hear a beep I just change window and see whats going on

the simple answer is.
yes and no.

Dungeonbuddy is the most afk able way.
some dungeons have issues. where they will miss an elevator or get stuck in water.

Questing, this normally seems to work good, should check every 30 to 60 minutes to just make sure its not getting stuck , check your gear ect.
lvl 58 to 70 is 100% Quest afkable.
Some Quests lvl 80 to 90, you might have to do manually.
Everyone is updating over time.

BATTLE Ground botting is 100% afkable.
the only problem is that .... this is the slowest way to level.

I was at the computer most of the time, but the only beeping was from occasional whispers "join my guild plz". But I also did mixed mode (bgs+questing) for 50-80. I used Kick's questing profiles (they come with when you download), and I used only LogMeOut and WatchTheChat plugins.

Uhm.. what? There's 1-90 profiles, there's grinding profiles, you can do battlegrounds, gathering, archaeology.

If you decide to get the bot, you'll need a few more things to make stuff run smoothly as possible:
Visit the "Combat Routines" portion of the forum to find a good mage routine
Visit the "Submitted Profiles" portion of the forum to find the questing profiles; Kick's are great
Once you have downloaded Kick's questing profiles, find a folder in there called "Quest Behaviours", and make sure they are all copied into your main HB subfolder called Quest Behaviours.
Find a folder inside Kick's folder called plugins; make sure those plugins are copied in to your main HB subfolder called Plug-ins
Browse the "plug-ins" section of the forum for anymore plugins you may find useful

Making sure all of these things are installed before you try starting the bot will save you a lot of time in the end.

Thanks! I decided to do that One Day full access for 1 dollar and so far it has leveled me 4 times. I didn't know there was that much more to it, I'm going to apply everything you said and see how it goes.

I am new here too. Purchased today 1 day, but gonna buy full tommorow. Everything is awesome except 1 thing. When i use gb2 and die while gathering , bot is not doing
anything, do i have to install some plugins or do i have to set something up?

Leave "Always use spirit healer" and "Wait out res sickness" unchecked, and it will go to you corpse to revive instead.
