New to Honor Buddy, can't get client to work

Every time I start honorbuddy and try to log in with my purchase key it crashes out and tries to send me an error report. This is with 32 bit version running with Direct X 9 on and my account is logged in player standing by idle. When I launch HB with the game off it at least goes through and says I need to get a WoW for it to attach to. So the problem must be when it is trying to attach to the WoW it crashes out or something. Please help me out, I am considering getting my money back for this product if I cannot use it.

restart your machine and make sure that all available windows updates are installed


also all Hb files must be under the same folder
 
All HB files as in even the ones that are un-extracted? Only thing I use is a shortcut on my desktop to launch HB.
 
There might be a problem with .NET Framework or C++ Redistributable.

Please follow these instructions exactly.

Uninstall ALL .NET Frameworks
Uninstall ALL C++ Redistributables
Restart your PC
Run this tool as ADMINISTRATOR - Honorbuddy Wizard

Hopefully this fixes the problem.
 
I am currently configuring windows service pack or in other words updating so hopefully this works if not ill try the steps you have just recommended. Thank you for all the help.
