New to GB

Hey guys I just bought GB today and I'm looking into making my own mining path at the moment. I'm really scared to get banned since I have like 3 characters with over 50 days of playtime on each so could you give me some general tips on decreasing the chance to get banned? I will only be focussing on mining saronite/titanium.
Also for some reason I can't open the forum topic that has the GB tutorial, it says I don't have the right account permission.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I couldn't find any forum for newcomers or general questions.

Sholazar Basin is the best area for mining
lower the recording ms(in Gb settings) at 2800-3000ms
also there is an addon called gatherer
Gatherer will show you almost all possible node's spawn spots on your map and it will be much easier to record your route

I would also like to add that you shouldnt ban on an account that you don't want to risk getting a ban. I for example bot between raids filling up, dungeon queues, dinner ect and almost always sit the bot.

Don't bot on an account you cant afford to lose. This means your main accounts.
You might think you won't get banned, or what are the chances of it happening to you, but when you do get banned it will be a million times more painful than if you had to open a new account and bot to 80.

Take it from all those here who have had the experience.

I originally just had a main account, and I wanted to bot for gold. I read a lot of stories of people getting banned.
I thought ahead and decided to spend the money for a brand new vanilla plus TBC plus Wotlk. Then endured the long journey of botting from 1-80. Took about one month real time.

The bot turned out succesful and have been farming with GB ever since.

I had been banned once, but had it reversed. My only thought was, great thing it wasn't my main account that got banned.

So there's prevention and cure. And prevention is better than cure.
