Yo.

Im relativly old HB user, and possibly a new DB'er.

I'd like to ask:
If I buy another d3 account - and 1 DB key.
Is it possible to auto it up to 60 and beyond?
How much gear do you advertise to get before botting without problems?
What char?
Also is it similar to HB to setup?
 
wit 50mil u can farm imba fast (movement speed+dmg+decent surva) on mp0 with barb also there are some profiles but cause of the new db some of them need updates

It's easy to setup. The "automated 1-60" is kinda rough right now. Every time they update the bot, it breaks some of the profiles/plugins until the author/developer updates them.

With that said, there's a 1-60 "semi afkable" out there right now. The bot gets stuck every now and again and all u need to do is click on something, help with a boss fight, etc. This bot is as easy as downloading the core bot, a highly suggested plugin (GilesTrinity), and any other plugins/profiles you prefer to use.

I tend to favor the Barbarian as in my opinion, it is the best bang for your buck, cheapest to gear and most durable for getting into botting quick. You'll look at investing 5-10 mil per bot to get an efficient runner (which is like $2-$3 if you purchase from RMAH).
 
I am also new to DB and thought I'd tag along in this. My issue is more of a problem though. How the hell do you get it to start? I've tried initiating the bot every way I can think of. I've used HB for a couple years now so its not dissimilar. Unfortunately, no matter how I try to open DB and get it running, it immediately crashes out. I don't even have time to enter the bot key before it does this. Any advice would be awesome.

Yes, there is a lot of lvling profils on the forum.

Bought a second-hand d3 acc with a 60(5) barb on it. Spent 1,3m on gear, now have 600ar, 60k dps and 32k hp. Usually 300ar,50k dps and 30k hp is enough, but ofc its depends on what class you "play".

Barb and monk are the kings now. If you have a good budget, get a barb, if you wanna bot only for max profit, get the monk.

Yea. Db have plugins, etc, just like HB.

Did you read the guides for how to get DB working? They're stickied on the forum lol
 
Thanks for all the replies - prolly gonna get into it over Christmas when boredom hits :)

Also from where do you guys earn your gold/$? From items, or selling gold on AH? (Is it viable to get pickup radius on gear, and then just run a lot - or do I need some luck with drops too?)

A combination of both. Ideally, you'd want to hit 500k+ GPH while still gaining a decent amount of XP/H. The higher in paragon levels you get, the more +GPH, +MF, and +stats you get. You want to also be able to maximize your auctions daily. Wasted auction house space is wasted cash (regardless of if it's just a 50k item for 300m). If you hit 500k+ GPH, 18m+ XPH, and a decent amount of loots throughout the night, I'd say you're good to go :).

As for "making money", it is a combination. Investing your gold into sell able items will save you 15% from Blizzard "taxes". I would say investing in items would be more like playing the stock market (risk involved), wheras selling gold is more like... well, gold in real life. Doesn't bring back as much profits (due to 30% tax rate), but it is pretty much guaranteed to give you income.

My recommendation would be to look up common builds online for all classes. Start researching the items they use and what they're selling for on both the RMAH and the gold auction house while you character levels and farms. That way, you can maximize your profit. Blindly selling items is what will break you sometimes (When I first start botting, I sold an item that was worth 200M~ for like for around 30m.).

I've a decent knowledge about... Barbs :p I've a paragon40 on my mainacc, and just thought of botting (actually just 1 day before banwave).
I'm gonna give it a go tonight I think - btw, how to bypass the "diablo III is already running"?

Remember, if you bot your main account, there is a good chance that it will eventually be banned. If you want to keep your account, do not bot on it. Use it as a mule to make sales/purchases for your bots. Just my two cents.

An easy way to get rid of the "Diablo III is already running" is to copy you Diablo III directory and make a new one. Create shortcuts for all of you diablo III folders, and in the properties change the target to ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III - Account 1\Diablo III.exe" -launch" (or wherever your directory is locateD). Just make sure to add the -launch at the end. I just make a new folder and change the Account ## (i.e Account 1, Account 2, etc).

There are other ways to accomplish this and those guides are located around the forums.

More than aware of this :)

I've 1 main acc in wow (with d3), 4 botters - and I just bought a new acc :) - you da man regarding account-bypass :)
