There is a new report a player feature that allows players to quickly report a player for spamming, language, name and most importantly cheating. In order to report someone you need to right click there name in chat or there player portrait, and select "report player for: _____. "
THE BAD:
Its not that big of a deal. The only bad thing about this is that it has made it easy to report botters, but this leads to a upside (read the good).
THE GOOD:
The good is they might whisper you before they report you. This way you will more than likely know when someone is reporting you. You can then respond with the usual "hehe im not botting" chat and try to persuade them that you are not a bot. They can report you by right clicking your portrait or name in chat and then go the the new reporting tab. With my current custom UI i was unable to right click someones portrait and report. The only option that is currently working for me was to right click someones name.(currently using elv ui)
EXAMPLE
some d-bag:"you really shouldnt bot bro"
me:"im not botting bro"
some d-bag:"then why where you running into walls?"
me:"its the new wow viral thing to do bro, everyone is doing it"
Even if you think that you convinced them that you are not botting, its a safe bet to lay low for a while. When someone reports you for "cheating" they are not going to instantly ban your account. If you get reported multiple times, by different people, they will investigate you to make sure you are in fact cheating, then ban you.
Its almost a warning system, if you are getting whispers from people that you don't know telling you things like "stop botting bro" then you know to take a break from botting for a little while. Just a heads up i thought people would like to know.
