Hello guys and galls.

I am planning to build a PC that can handle 10 bots+ TeamViewer or other similar software.
I want this PC just for botting. Bonus factors are if its energy efficient and silent.

Does someone has something that runs exactly that number.

P.S. Please guys refrain from posting systems that can run more than 10 bots. I can easily build a PC that can run 30 bots. But i am having a problem on deciding exactly how much 10 WoW+HB will need.

Current 10 Bot system:
amd phenom ii x6 1090t
8gb ram
some trash graphic

runs 10 - 11 bots.

but would prefer

Intel Core i5 4460
8 gb ram
some random graphic

Each instance of wow+HB will take up ~500-750mb of RAM so 10 would clock in at about 5-7.5GB, depending on what you are planing on running. Personally on my latest build I went for 32 GB as I run 15-20 on a regular basis while working on scripts and profiles. therefore I would go for 12 - 16 GB if you do not want to have any RAM throttling.

In terms of CPU I would go for one of the new gens I3 severely overclocked, or an I5 overclocked but stock will work as well, decreasing your voltage and power consumption.

Power supply I would stick in the 500 - 750 range as you are not going to be using very intense drawing applications and lower your need for conversion decreasing your wattage throughput.

Motherboard is basically which ever suits the rest of your hardware.

I always go for water cooling just to extend the life of the chip if nothing else the price is worth it. 100$ for H100i is well worth 20$ a year if you keep all drivers up to date.

Graphics card is a toss up in case you want to use it for other games down the road, but in terms of strictly botting, go with some trash as the new I5 and I7 have substantial built in graphic processing.

if anyone has input as well running 5 bots with isboxer right now im at 50 percent cpu usage. I have a fx 8320 at 4.0 and 16gb ram, 2 r9 280xs, any suggestions to lowering that cpu usage?

disable sound on all 5, disable all addons, lower your graphics, disable all combat text and shit.... disable all things.

Will the bolded part really matter much?

I found these a time ago, don't know if they do much.

/console enableCombatText 0
/console fctSpellMechanics 0
/run SetCVar("CombatDamage", 0)
/run SetCVar("CombatHealing", 0)

"Also If you are boting you can use these macros , file changes and advices to reduce the graphics even more and use less CPU:

* These six macros are made in more parts since there is a max lines x each so you will need for each a new macro.

Macro 1/1:

/console gxcolorbits 16
/console gxdepthbits 16
/console skycloudlod 0
/console particledensity 0.3
/console lod 0
/console fullalpha 0
/console doodadanim 0
/console mapshadows 0
/console loddist 50
/console maxlights 0

Macro 1/2

/console specular 0
/console pixelshader 0
/console detaildensity 1
/console unitdrawdist 20
/console waterlod 0
/console basemip 1
/console shadowlevel 1
/console alphalevel 1
/console textureloddist 80
/console light 0
/console fog 0

Macro 1/3 :

/console bitdepth 16
/console showwater 0
/console maxlod 0
/console watermaxlod 0
/console waterwaves 0
/console waterspecular 0
/console waterripples 0
/console waterparticulates 0
/console showshadow 0
/console skyclouddensity 0
/console skysunglare 0

Macro 1/4:

/console skyshow 0
/console gxrestart

Macro 2/1 : (on last line I put maxfps 20 but you can choice any number here)

/console anisotropic 1
/console gxVSync 0
/console frillDensity 1
/console groundEffectDensity 16
/console groundEffectDist 1
/console detailDoodadAlpha 1
/console horizonfarclip 1305
/console farclip 177
/console characterambient
/console maxfps 20

Macro 2/2:

/console smallcull 0
/console skycloudlod 1
/console gxrestart

* You can also change your Config.wtf file (in WoW --> WTF folder) like this to reduce everything "lower than low" but I strongly suggest to save a copy of the original file in case you screw up anything

* You can turn off audio in each window witch may decrease CPU usage.

* You can remove any function from wow (combat text, HP tabs, all)

* Another thing you can do to reduce CPU usage is to reduce your Desktop bits to 16:

Right-Click on Desktop -> Properties -> Settings - "Color quality".
Select 16-Bit and click "Apply".

*IF you are botting with Honorbuddy
1) press Settings and Tools --> General - Log Level.--> choice none --> press save & close
2) Disable all plugins you don't need !

Many credits from all I wrote here go to OC and HB community people but I gathered many infos from more threads and added here in one so people browsing these forums can also help themselves to run more WoW clients on their CPU's without having to search to many places."

1055T / i7 920 with 8gb of ram and a 7200rpm drive works.

You don't need more tbh. Getting more will not give you better performance, just a lighter wallet.
