new official guide?

so for those of us that are brand new, can the dev's make a new start up guide to get people going?

so I got it started! but then it stopped working..got to lvl 10 quests( toon is now lvl 16) and it says

It's community profiles though, you need to post more details and you need to post in the profile thread that you're having issues with. likely you're not in the right location, which happens frequently. There's plenty of information for getting going on the forums here.

i agree ive followed some of these noobie guides already and got halfway through setting it up when i realized its outdated and doesn't work anymore like that magiteck thing the guide wanted you to install and svns that plp dont have in thier profiles anymore, id like a heavensward guide

They're not dead, despite appearing that way in the browser when you try to go to them that way. They are likely the ones you input into a "Commit" prompt like ToroiseSVN locally. There's a link to a guide on how to SVN in that thread and in my signature.

quick question is there any fix for the dark devices fate? keeps going back to the aethryte after each part....and i saw 4 other people that have the same mod im using lol all following the same track also cant see any flying options in the bot

You can try ChainIt. I believe this is the lastest version, but I couldn't tell you if it's still working:

This only works for Dark Devices Fate currently, but you can change it to your own by entering the ID, the order doesn't matter except for the last fate.

Create a file call ChainIt.cs in the Plugins directory. Paste below in.

You can actually have it wait at as many fates as you would like; just add them all to the line he mentioned separated by a comma:

If you added ExBuddy properly, you should see an EnableFlight Plugin under the "Plugins" tab. Enable that and you should fly in HW areas if you have it unlocked.

Move the following:

ExBuddy => RebornBuddy 1.0.358.0/Plugins
ExFateBot => RebornBuddy 1.0.358.0/BotBases
Ultima => RebornBuddy 1.0.358.0/Routines
y2krazy => RebornBuddy 1.0.358.0/Profiles

Kicks Svn = what is this? HonorBuddy 1-100 profiles?

I had a feeling that was the case. Kick's profiles are for HonorBuddy, not RebornBuddy. The "how to SVN" guide is located in the HonorBuddy section of the forums, not the RebornBuddy section. You can not use Kick's profiles with RB, so you may as well just remove them.

As for Multibot, I found that in one of the guides, but you should have taken note of two things:

1. The guide linking to Multibot has not been updated at all this year (in 2015), and
2. The Multibot thread hasn't been updated at all this year (in 2015).

Making those 2 observations, you could have come to the conclusion that either the guide or the Multibot thread was outdated, or both.

umm im new here and those were the only guides on how to set it up, when you have no idea follow a guide, not my fault this site is so out of date, maybe have the bot come with the most used plugins to begin with, cause i was doing everything blind and following the only guides i could

I'm not saying you did anything wrong, necessarily. I'm just pointing out that since those guides haven't been updated since the latter half of 2014, they should be taken with a grain of salt. They have some useful information in them, but some information will likely be out-of-date a year plus after it's last been updated.
