If you buy the game again after getting banned, do you get a fresh new game without having to make a new account?

You can only have 1 D3 license per b.net account, so if you want to buy another license, you'll need a new b.net account, too.

Don't answer if you do not know the answer. It's exactly as OP stated, if you are banned and buy a new license on the same account, the banned license gets overwritten. A note is that you need to buy d3 & ros, not only ros. (Some people thought so earlier)

yeah and you get to keep things from previously owned collectors editions.
Had my account banned and when i bought a new one i still got the wings and stuff.

Thanks!

Ok so your saying if you get banned all you have to do is get a new license and you can keep your old banned account? Huh ...that doesn't sound right. So basically your saying they ban the license key tied to your account. If I get banned tomorrow all i have to do is get a new key and i can keep going with all my items and builds?

If you buy the game again, you can play the game from your account but it'll be a new game. So none of your previous progress/items will be there.

To clarify the confusion here.. You have a battle.net account and a game license for D3. If your D3 license is banned your battle.net account is not. Under that circumstance you can add a new D3 game license to your existing battle.net account. Or create a new battle.net account and add the new game license there. Hope this helps.
