The next stupid pre-Cata event. When a home city is under attack, all the mailboxes, auctioneers (I think) and bankers are removed... Annoying.

there is some stupid invasion in the main cities all vendors are evacuated and until the battle is over you cant use anything

Well, I was in SW on a toon and mobs started attacking the city ... and all of the fkn mailboxes and guild banks disappeared and it told everyone to defend.

So I logged on my IF toon and was like "HAHA SW" ... and then they came to IF shortly after =(

Are you talking about elementals spawning in SW and IF?
After the event you can go into instances that give you 251 items though.
Elite Elements spawn with rifts in different districts and you gotta kill em... each has 315k health though..

This just means swarms of 80s will be ready every two hours to stop it as fast as possible, this might actually help the market in a odd way..

I like the event but oddly, my CPU usage goes to near 100 percent when it phases. My machine was hand built less than a year ago. So Im sure its somthing in WoW.

That was annoying, this is just waiting it out (or move to darnassus or exodar, where the event doesn't take place).

Mordd its because all the people int he main city, and then the phase happens you got all these enemies on screen.. its like if you had waves of trash mobs from a dungeon but in a capital city and its not 25 man its 100 man.. any computer is going to get kicked in the balls.. not to mention all the nps running around the walls spawning the fire burning randomly everywhere..

Would be smarter to get a mage to port you to Dalaran, and set your home there.
That way you can escape to whichever city that is not under attack (either by the event, or the opposing faction).

It's cause WoW uses the processor for most of its graphics except the new water and sunshafts.

The attacks are only happening in Stormwind, Ironforge, Orgrimmar and Thunder Bluff.

Go to Darnassus, Exodar, Undercity or Silvermoon and you'll be fine.
