New accounts - Bot while in trial, or upgrade first?

For those of you more experienced with HB, when you're starting off a new character do you generally upgrade the account before you start botting or vice versa? I hear that trial accounts are more closely watched over, but if you upgrade first you are putting your money on the line.. not sure which is a better solution.

Upgrade straight away. Vanilla accounts cost me ?2.90 so I'm not too bothered if they get banned ^^

Whoa where do you get them that cheap? Aren't they usually 10USD+tax? That's under $5..
