Hi,

Yesterday i purchased a brand new wow account. I played on it for about 2 hours and then used HBrelog to bot for about another 2-3 hours. This morning i received the following email from Blizzard :

Greetings,

Blizzard has locked the Battle.net account ***** due to an unusual change in its access pattern.

If you recently changed your connection pattern, you can unlock your account with a simple password reset. Visit the Password Reset page to begin the process. The form can also be reached by clicking ?Can?t log in? on any Battle.net login page.

If you did not recently change your connection pattern, someone else may have attempted to access your account using your password. We encourage you to follow our security checklist to secure your computer, and then performing a Password Reset to unlock access.

Once you?ve regained access, consider adding Battle.net SMS Protect, a free service that allows you to quickly recover your Battle.net account using a mobile device. For more information, see the SMS Protect FAQ.

Regards,

I'm not trying to accuse anyone but it's a bit weird that i entered my password into HBrelog and the next day somebody tried to access my account ???

You or someone another try connect to your account from other ip/country/isp.

PS
you know how many people use HBrelog ?! ....

How easy its to blame someone else... Some peoples IP change when you reset your modem or even if you dont, that will cause the Account Lock.

You can get many of those. Replace HBrelog with proxies and log each day with 1 of them.
Should be easy to change ur password every day

Yes I do. As stated, i wasn't trying to accuse anyone of stealing my password. I was simply asking for advice to see if anyone else had received an email like this.

Clean pc, change email and password and will be good.

I would look closely at the link. It looks like a standard phishing email to me. Get them all the time
