Brand new account started a few weeks ago. No gathering only questing and a few battlegrounds. Monitored all interactions and had no missed whispers. Did not flood the ah, only sold a few items obtained while leveling. Banned for:
Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")
This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.
Went through account recovery first, gm determined that the account could not have have been compromised. Appealed twice so far both without any explanation other than the ban will no be removed. Any ideas? Seems very silly that after knowing many people who have botted for years whom never have had even a warning that I do what people see as the safest form as questing while supervising and I receive a permanent ban. Bad luck?
