New Account Honor Farming

Just joined wow again havent played since MOP. Have a lifetime access to HB just wanting to know if its possible to still farm battle grounds just to get heirloom gear to restart playing.

Read a lot of bad things not sure if its safe to even test it out

I wouldn't take the risk botting bgs.
I bot priests to level 15, throw some high ilvl items on it and BG myself. que times are roughly 10 mins, and 20-30 mins(?) for the BG.
If your teams losing, just leave it. Take the 15 min debuff, then you can either have a break, use another toon (Multiple lvl 15 priests) or level another toon.

Reason why Disc priest, theyre OP, heal and dps. also reason why you leave the bg when losing, you wanna get as many marks as you can before hitting level 20, so leave earlier so not to receive any unwanted xp.

no risk to bot while doing this, at worst you lose a new account with no characters on it.

If its a free to play account then sure. Otherwise he risks being banned and losing what he paid for the game, if he sends the marks to another sub he also risks that.
