Ok,
this is going to seem frivolous and maybe a little silly to some of you old hands out there, but after doing this to myself again this week
after I promised myself I wasn't going to do it.
If you are starting a bot on a new account.
Don't START with dranei as your first toon.
Why? you may ask...
Because the class mount they get is default of the Elek (Elephant).
Well, now this may not seem a problem.. but let me tell you... these mounts get stuck on more "stuff" in the botting world than any of the other normal class mounts, and since mounts are account bound now.. if you get one of these first... you will have it on all toons on that account.. and they are a royal pain in the ass. Every single zone has stuck spots with the elek that don't exist on the other class mounts because of the size.
Start with something else... human is tried and true, gnome.. whatever.. I suppose horde (gross) has similar problems with taurens and kodos but they should get reported... so I am not worried about them.
Anyway,
Then when you want a dranei, make it use a specific mount from your available ones so that random doesn't choose the elek.
Happy botting... and for those that celebrate it happy thanksgiving or whatever holiday your people celebrate at this time of the year.
