This was mentioned on the mmowned website on something I was googling pretty hard to find.

Was made by our very own Nesox but I cant get in touch with him (inbox full) He made a plugin that allows the sniping of neutral auction houses, but doesnt list the addons. What do we need to get this thing up and running, anyone know?
Id mainly just want a bot that scans within a price range and either automatically gets the items or has some type of buy to confirm bit.
 
I would think that you'd want it to either include rarity (only rare and epics) along with the price range... but even then, if the person transferring is smart, they will send out a low value blue item at 1s to see if your bot picks it up. (they should also do a /who to see if there are any low level toons in the neutral AH zones).

So... a popup click a buy button would be best... if you could resist their test, it could be followed by a truly epic snatch!

I'm not at home right now (sat morning class) so I can't even see the bot that was posted... specific game sites are blocked here. I'd love to see something but you'd have to see the item, evaluate it and snatch it within a second if you want a truly good shot at snatching it before they grab it on the 'other side'... I know that when I send things, I have the 2nd person in the same room sitting at a 2nd computer 10 ft away with a count down and a pre-populated search.
 
It's not a sniping bot if you have to click a buy button, the point is that it does this all whilst you're afk.

You use the auctioneer addon to get scans of your auction house every few days, to get a baseline of prices. Then you set up HB and a lowbie alt in a neutral ah place, and it uses the auctioneer addon to decide what items are highly under priced or will gain you over 50% profit or some crap, then it automatically buys them out within milliseconds and blah blah.
 
If you used that, you'd never get my good stuff then... (or anyone that is smart)... cause the first thing we would do is send out a low value blue item at 1s or 1c and see if it gets jumped on... if it does, we don't send over the truly valuable item...
 
BTW - I would NEVER use this while AFK... if you snatched someone's epic pet that is valued at 75k or something like that, you can expect you will get a whisper in seconds... if you do not reply back, you can count on being reported as a snipe bot. If you want, you can tell them that what you did was fair and within the rules and they can kiss your butt... and they can do nothing in return... or you can sell it to them at a discount... 25k for a 75k item if you want to be nice.

But if you do this while truly AFK... to me, that is asking to get reported...
 
I've used the one on ownedcore and earned about 100k off from it, my gf supervises it when Im at work so I can afk all I want. ^^
 
I've used the guide on the ownedcore forums, and AFK'd it alot, been reported, but never got a ban. I have talked to GM's myself and it is allowed to do it(not with keyspam tho) I dont think they can find out if you do it with keyspam, or maybe they just dont care about it.
 
Altoids you seem a bitter smarter then the average N AH user :P dont think this type of thing was meant against ppl who are really trying hard not to get scammed.
Also that bot by Nesox isnt listed anymore broken link.
How to get this thing up and running then?
Have auctioneer so im guessing you use the search feature and make a custom "search" using the search feature set it to Epic+ and a crazy low price.
Now what im not getting is how do you make it say "buy these" Im not going to sit there and watch the screen but could confirm quickly if it plays a sound *Confirm to buy X for X amount?" chat noise. I know im not going to stare at the screen for hours on end hoping someone slips up...
