So, I have .net framework 4. My question is: do I also need 3.5, and if so, should I uninstall 4? I don't have 2 or 3 either. How should I go about this exactly? The reason I ask is that, I've gotten a coulpe errors that referenced a .net framework exception, while attempting to open the CC settings on Fpsware Paladin. I believe the bot was running when I was attempting to tinker.

Regards.

Probably shoulda mentioned I was on Win7. Just to help others, I spent the last two hours trying to install .net framework 3.5 and sp1. Well, after a chunk of research, I found that If you're on Windows 7, all your previous versions of framework (1.1, 2, 3, 3.5 etc) are baked into your .net framework 4--I.E. you won't see them if you look in your programs, all you'll see is 1.1 and 4! Was skeptical until I found a verification tool. .NET Framework Setup Verification Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs ...DOH

Windows 7 (assuming you've done Windows Update... right?!) comes pre-installed with .NET 3.5 (SP1 via windows updates)

You shouldn't need to install anything else, unless you want .NET 4.0 for some other program (such as Ryftomate, our sister-product)
