Also, make sure gb is added as an exception to your av/fw, and run WoW windowed if you're in fullscreen.
Also, turn off any other apps that might screw with the DirectX hook (3d drivers, overlays, other games, etc).

Sorry for the waste of time, I just spent 3+ hours trying to get this to work fooling with .net.
I'm on windows 7, so the .net was kinda weird to mess with.
Ended up being something with WoW, deleted ALL of my WTF, Interface, Cache folder, and whala! It worked.

Its very likely that it was the cache folder. Sometimes it gets some corrupt data in it and will crash gb/hb.
