Net framework 4.5

So it seems everyone is making their new CR's compatible with net framework 4.5 only. Which is proving to be a rather annoying problem for myself as my PC is still using windows XP *inb4 troll about needing a new computer* Has anyone found a work around for getting net framework 4.5 to work with XP?

Im assuming they're just being coded with a newer software update which only supports 4.5 (not having a dig at you guys for not supporting 4.0)

ATM .NET 4.0 is all you need for HB to run.
Haven't heard about 4.5 for XP, but perhaps this will help you (haven't tracked this article):

They say "Windows XP", but I doubt it.

Yeah HB is running fine, but i think the custom CR developers are using a new version of VS which only supports net framework 4.5 which is why im only having a problem when trying to run CR's like oracle and death vader

4.5.1 isnt supported by XP either, mother truckers! thank you for the link anyway. anyone else have any ideas?

I know it is frustrating, because I formerly was a die-hard Win2K freak (the best MS-OS *EVER*!) until the bitter end,
but somewhen the day comes when you personally have to realize that it's finally over.
Win2K has been abandoned like XP and eventually you have to resign yourself to install a newer, more modern product.
That's life... ^^

I feel your pain brother, its hard to stop using though i have been using it since 2003 or whenever it came out and its so familiar
