.Net 3.5 Framework Problems

I've read the other posts on here about .Net 3.5, but I'm still having a problem. HB and GB work fine on my laptop, which is Vista. I never had to install 3.5. But i just got a desktop in order to save my laptop life from running 24/7. The only problem is, i cant find a place to download .Net 3.5 with out it saying "Re-connecting to the downloading server". Anyone know where i can download it and install it offline?

Its not working for some reason, Tony. Here on my laptop it downloads fine, but when i try to install it on my desktop, its not able to connect. My desktop is connected to the internet, because i'm running wow on it and surfing the net. Its Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2. Does the service pack have anything to do with it? Because a lot of the .Net Framework 3.5 i see are for Service Pack 1. What do i doooo >.<
