Needing Pets with Instance Buddy

I just ran an instance and luckily I was watching it, but the bot didn't need on 3 pets all from rare drops. I really think the bot should need on pets you don't have. I love to collect pets and think it should behave this way.

Anyone know how to possibly bypass or "fix" this?

Thx Tony. I would be happy if this was the case it already vendors pets like Mr. Grubbs and stuff
