Hi buddypeople !

I recently bought a new Graphic card, not that expensive, not that cheap. Sapphire Technology Web Site

It crashes alot like

One thing that happens is that the drivers resets like, The AMD drivers has stopped working and has been reset. It goes like this:
1. Everything freezes
2. Screen goes black
3. It goes back to normal

Second thing that happens is that it just crashes, screen goes black and a text appears like, please connect the DVI cable or the video cable etc. Like I have no screen connected to the graphics card. This causes me to reboot the computer with the start button, which I don't believe is very good for the computer.

The third thing is that it starts with going black, the screen. After that my fan on the graphic card goes on 100% maximum speed like, wtf. Same here, I must use the start button to reboot the computer.

Please if there is someone that experienced the same problem or if there is someone who is just really pro at computers... I NEED HELP

Excuse me for my bad english

return it, get another one. since it seems like something else is going on with that card.

If you're using the latest drivers for the graphics card, then I'd do as CnG suggested... return it and get it replaced.

I've done both before for similar problems... and sometimes it's worked, and many times it didn't... but it's def worth a try, especially if you have a near empty partition so you don't have to do it to your main drive. I have one large hard drive partitioned into 3 drives and I rotate from one to another... lol

Well I only have 1 drive but I don't mind cleaning up the hard drives ( doing a format ) But when I do it a folder called windows.old creates with all the old programs and folders I had since before format. Shall I delete those to?
