Some informations about current system specs:

-motherboard: Gigabyte s1156 GA-P55A-UD3
-CPU: Intel s1156 Core i7-860 2,80GHz
-VGA: GTX470 1280MB DDR5
-RAM: Corsair DDR3 XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9A 4GB KIT (2x, so total 8GB)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

1 month ago totally reformatted and reinstalled everything. All drivers are up-to-date.

On that PC i can run 12 WoW bots (Gatherbuddy) + i can browse web with max 6 tabs open + listening to music)
The RAM is at 90-94%, which is ok considering how much things runs at once. However the cpu is bouncing from 50-90%

BUT, my question is can i run more bots if i buy more Rams ? (16gb) And why is the cpu bouncing or how can i reduce it?
Should i buy a better cpu or buy a new botting machine?

Thanks for the answers/suggestions!

I think it's the RAM, my CPU bounces a lot aswell, but my RAM is always at 80%, I have 3 bots running and 4GB RAM.
It's probably the RAM.

The CPU bounces, depending on what your bots are doing, if you are doing battlegrounds then its normal that it bounces, when it gets intensified, if you're using GB2 only on all of them, well then it must be something else, did you ever thought of checking whic processes are making your CPU bounce like this? It may be the WoW/HB but it may be something else. If you want to reduce your RAM usage you can use a memory cleaner, you will go down to like 60-70% probably, are all of your games on Low settings and limited FPS? 25-35.. did you shrinked all windows to the smallest possible?

You can run more bots if you get more RAM, but you can run more even like this try a Mem Cleaner, but before going there, find out what's making this huge gaps in the CPU usage... Also, make sure that you have set PhysX to the GPU!!! not Automatic.

Nvidia control panel -> PhysX configuration

I ran 12 GB2 only. And the WoW makes the CPU bounce like this.
Everything is set to minimum and shrinked them to the smallest possible windows. CleanMem is also installed and always on. FPS is capped at 30.
Thanks for the PhysX, it was on automatic, now set it as you suggested !!

You want to tell me that, with memory cleaner on, everything to minimum, and shrinked windows, and you're still at 90% memory? Actually you may be right, they are after all 12 bots, under normal conditions they will need about 600-700 RAM each that's 8400, and the memcleaner is keeping you safe... for now... but still it should reduce it more than that

The memory is down to 87% atm, but still ..
Anyway im thinking about upgrading it up to 16GB
Vengeance? Thought about it ?

Btw my main problem is the CPU bouncing.. i dont know if i buy more Ram would i be able to run more bots coz of it.

I told you, check the processes and see if its really the WoW/HB that makes it bounce, it could be something else... when I bought my PC I had the same problem, my CPU was bouncing up and down and it was some shit from Windows that was compiling some stuff...

I have exactly the same RAM, 2x8GB of these.

I made 2 scrshots from the taskmanager.

WoW and HB makes the CPU bounce like hell. (restarted the PC a bit better memory performance, for a few hours)

Well it is from the WoW/HB indeed, look at what they are doing when this is happening, are they fighting or is there a lot of mobs around them.... something must be causing it... its 12x WoW clients, and 12x HB clients after all, even if their CPU usage increases by 0,5 % for each of them, in total that is +12%, and going up and down with 0,5-1,5% is within its margin of CPU usage.... so its normal I guess..and up if you do the math 0,5-1,5% + for each of them is a total of 12-36%+ of CPU usage, the same thing is happening to me my CPU is going between 12 and 30% with 3 bots..
