Need help questions about multibotting that are not answered in guides.

I'm just now realizing the potential of hb combined with multibotting on one pc, my pc is a serious machine so no worries there, my questions are as follows...

1. Since I must purchase one HB key per account (ouch i need serious discounts) When I set these up i'm assuming i have to put all of these keys attached to separate Honorbuddy.exe's in separate folders correct? So if i have 20 accounts i need 20 separate instances of HB because of the product key associated with each one? Or does it all get associated to a single key?

2. I was told Arelog is buggy when it comes to placing windos back on the screen is this still true?

3. I'm really new to multi, but i'm no means new to HB ANY info or help getting set up will be repped and very appreciated, I want to eventually have 20 accounts across servers botting all at the same time. I havent seen one guide that shows this step by step from start to end, if someone made one please pm me or post here!

Experiment arelogger with just one account till you figure out how it works to your liking. Next is to set it up for all 20 accounts.

Now... as far as buying bulk licenses... send bossland an email for a quote but I know for reg users like me I bought the 3pack.

To my understanding not many people would have 20 accounts.. SO to give you any answers would be a guess
1. they keys and any possibility of discounts would only be able to be answered by bossalnd or another in the upper eschalons of the community
2. If its placement that you are worried about there are other plugins that can handle the placements, but the key would be management of the bots them elves which i explain next.
and finally.
3. setting up 20 bots would not be much different than setting up 1 or 2 just the need for a management system would be a more of a requirement so the use of a plugin like [Plugin - Monitoring] BuddyCenter ( Raphus & Possien ) would be a must otherwise you would constantly be checking what each was doing.

alll in all what you have set your self is a pretty big task that in essenece is just more a excercise of data management than a process based excerise..

20 minutes after your first post and you're tripping? Your questions don't really seem that urgent to me...

Your wishes are no different then for someone doing 3 or 4 bots, as has been said. As you're not going to multibox in the pure sense of the word, ie. running many accounts on 1 server aimed on 1 goal (clearing HC's or raids, or whatnot). For those activities you might require some "non standard" plugins and/or addons.

I see no obstacles in doing what you want to be doing. It might be best to slowly increase the amount tho, so you can get comfortable with how it works running so many. It would also cut down on the number of keys you have to buy in 1 go.

OK so from my experience...

1. Correct each HB.exe (You should rename the exe to something else btw) needs its own key and this is stored in the HB folder\settings

2. Don't use relogger so I can't answer this. I use logme in and remote back to my PC from my phone or from work.

3. The fun one

So I run 2 accounts I realise this isn't a lot but the process is the same

Firstly create a folder somewhere c:\the awesome\

Create a folder for HB c:\the awesome\hb1\

Create a folder for youe Meshes c:\the awesome\Meshes\

Then setup HB files in the c:\the awesome\hb1\ location

Now launch HB without wow running and insert your username (key)

Now close it

HB should have create c:\the awesome\hb1\settings folder

You can now go to c:\the awesome\hb1\settings and edit the StyxSettings file

edit the following

<MeshesFolderPath>c:\the awesome\Meshes\</MeshesFolderPath>


NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, DON'T BLOAT THE INSTALL WITH LOADS OF PROFILES, PLUGINS AND CUSTOM CLASSES

Setup you SVN client

Get Kicks leveling profiles and setuo the SVN.



Now you are set.

Copy the HB1 folder and then simply rename it example HB2

c:\the awesome\hb1\hb1.exe
c:\the awesome\hb2\hb2.exe

Then you can create shortcuts to each exe and set the compatbilty options to run as admin.


This is the exact way I setup my HB. Not sure if it the right way, but it is my way.

I find this cause far less issue with plugins and custom classes and sharing the meshes folder has not caused an issue for me yet.
