Need help please

Alright so hear me out and see if you can help me, I had a trouble setting honorbuddy up because honestly there are some seriously hard to follow instruction. Anyway, long story short, im logging into honorbuddy with the key you sent me. The bind account to shop thing makes no sense to me. So I logged in with the key, threw some errors at me then it looked like it worked. Downloaded a profile for mining in uldum and tried to get it to work, it says its reading it but nothing happens. I've tried using the Proffesion buddy plug-in but nothing happens. So what do i do, this program is leaving me seriously confused. Please help.
 
you dont need to bind your key anywhere, you use your key as your username with no password, and thats it.

if your having other problems, then post your log, you can find that in your Honorbuddy/Logs/ Folder, and upload the most recent one as an attachment so we can try and figure out whats going on.
 
Cheers, makes sense of the key thing. I just tried reloading it now and got an error message. It's weird though, it gave a red error message in the bottom debug tab, then I get white writing like its working, then massive red error, then white etc. Atm it's just white writing which I assume means it's working. ish. Anyway this is the log you asked for.

did you say it was working for you then?

if your new in that area, it takes some time for the bot to download the maps for the area, so sometimes you just need to wait a bit after pressing start.
 
Not working. I don't really know whats going on. Whenever I try to load a profile it says its done but it never works? The debug tab is going insane, the log 'seems' like it's working. I just want this to work, no idea whats going wrong. When I log in the first thing the debug thing has is this:

If anyone thinks they can help please let me know, I literally just bought this today and I'm clueless.
 
Can anyone help? would be awesome, appreciate you trying to help CodenameG, maybe you can find out whats going? I'm literally just loading it up, getting some errors don't know what any of them mean. Then it says something about 'initialization complete' 'honorbuddy is upto date' , I try loading some profiles in, it then says changing profile 'whatever the profile im trying to load in is' and then thats it. I'm stuck, what am I meant to do, start button does nothing, none of the side-buttons seem to work either. Just clueless :(

For future reference, here's how to attach a log...

The cut-n-paste of the log window doesn't show exceptions, and other things that go only to the debug log. That's why we ask for it.


As to your problem, are you running the WoWclient in DX9 mode (not DX11 mode)? Also, are you running the WoWclient in windowed mode, and not fullscreen?

try doing your windows updates, chances are theres a update to the .net framework that might help fix that.
 
This is the log posted in the way you've asked. I installed windows updates, im playing in dx9 mode, fullscreen. It's still not working, regretting the purchase to be honest.

I'm sorry I was unclear in my previous post. You are supposed to use DX9 and *windowed* mode. Fullscreen won't work.

Give it a try, and let us know the result.

It works now. Thanks for the help, you guys were super quick to help and sorted it pretty well. Thanks you guys. I'll let you know if I come across any problems.
