Need help making gold in bad economy

So I used to make gold mining n herb in twilight highlands, selling raw herbs & volatiles, but prospecting, & d/eing the elemtnium / pyrite ore, but recently I guess everyone knows about that tactic, the price of inferno rubys (cut) have gone from 200g, down to 60g, and (uncut) from 150g, to 50g. Same thing with Greater Celestial Essence's, they were 800-100 / stack, now they're 400g a stack...

I thought maybe this is just a fluke, and gave the economy some time to get it's shit back together, but unfotunately it failed to do so. :(

I know there's a site or something that tells you what you can farm, and what's selling on your server (Borean Tundra) but I have no idea how to use it lol...

I got 525 first aid, fishing, cooking, archeology, mining, herbalism, alchemy, inscription, jewelcrafting, & enchanting. (Can also get a proff to 525, or have a friend help if req.)

Can someone give me some tips or advice on what I can do for now on to make gold, without this popular tactic? =)
 
Learn to read data and work out what stuff is cheap and what you can do to profit from it, also don't post your realm name dude...
 
actually u r on a wrong time to earn good amount of gold. Expansion will come in one and a half month and most people do not give a shit to game atm. What I can suggest you to farm "profession leveling materials" like wotlk clothes, leathers, mines etc.. Cause most ppl who are online are lvling alts and they are lvling new professions with them as well. Especially leathers like "heavy leather, medium leather and thick leather as well as borean and knothide" are selling like hell in most Realm's AH's.

Do not bother urself with farming Cata mats since nobody gives a shit about them atm.
 
there is no special "gold making strat"

look whats on demand and farm it, like always.

transmog gear does well aswell. Good move to stock up on that aswell for returning players when mop hits.

farm leather, inks, cloth.

But then again, no one can point you out to that special thing, all comes down to the server your on.
 
Markets are going to be down since it's the end of the expansion. Like others suggested, try farming old world mats used by players who are leveling up alts, etc. Other than that, there is no easy solution to making a ton of gold right. Just farm what sells well by utilizing The Undermine Journal.
