hi Budda, hope you dont mind me posting in your thread? there are already alot of simular posts out there but this seems to be the one for me. im new to this just like you. and got the same problem as you, i think! us noobs ha! ;)

Well to get to my (our) problem

I downloaded lates DB #298

Downloaded Trinity 1.7.1.14 BETA

Downloaded Act3 by rrrix

dowloaded quest tool 1.2.0

i unzip latest DB on desktop, make a map named Plugins, put trinity and quest tool in there.-



Start D3, log in, when selecting char i start db and get the folowing messages in my log.

i havent even started the bot yet.

and i would verry much like a walkthrough of how this program works, i've read all the guide stickys and that dident even come close to help me out.

how do i change to setting for auto looting ? perhaps you could tell us =)

what do you mean with "auto looting"?

Trinity will loot stuff according your pickup settings (Trinity settings)
 
i ment, if i can tell trinity wich items to pick up? dont want any blues, and no rars under ilvl63, but i saw that it will identify it all and stash the possible good ones and sell all the crap, all by it self.

BUT

another thing haha :D

it seems that its using mp 0, when i have set d3 to play at mp3.

do i need to change any setting for this ?

for how long would you recomend me running the bot before taking a break ? and any specific settings i can change to minimize risks using it ?

under bot settings you can find the MP bar
 
CAn someone get mine working as well...... it just crashes d3 i dont know what i am doing either
 
in DB zip there is a folder called Help

in that folder you can find the DB guide,check it
 
i did, read it from page 1-9, and it doesn't mention anything i need.
db was crashing d3 every time i loaded it so i did a fresh install, also downloaded trinity 1.7.1.17, quest tools 1.3.0, and act 3 inferno by rrrix. then extracted all 3 files to plugin folder. only trinity and questtools show up in the plugin box, and i have them both checked. when i go to start it says "There is no profile loaded. Please load a profile before starting the bot. so i open up scheduler and nothing is there......
